Girls Gone Wild - Are Ya Stupid?

Hey Silverhorners Long time no see...sorry about that. Been walking. Yup...I said walking. The wife has got us a couple of pedometers, those gizmos that measure how many steps you've taken, and has set out to get the worlds record. Not for walking...but for walking the ass off of a 48 year old fat guy, namely...me.

So...my blogging has been suffering but then again, so have I, as I struggle to go even farther and farther each night, returning home wishing I could run up the stairs to the front door ala Sylvester Stallone in "Rocky" and jump up and down in triumphant excitement for having reached the pinicle of excellent physical condition.

Most nights I barely manage to crawl up the steps and jumping up and down is completely out of the question...it's hard to jump when you are on your hands and knees...crying...

So, on to other things. This one caught my ever observant eye for things in the news that beg the question, Are Ya Stupid? Frequent readers of The View From Silverhorn Mountain know that we have a recurring theme about stupid stuff and this seems to fit that category, and what makes this one even better is that is somehow relates to women, specifically women losing various items of clothing and posing for pictures.

It seems that a couple of women from Florida have sued the maker of the "Girls Gone Wild" videos, a guy who might have been my idol in my younger days....Joe Francis.

The girls, Brooke Pastolic and Christina Brose are alleging that Joe Francis and his crew of happy employees released a video showing them in sexually explicit video without their consent.

According to the news, the girls were enticed aboard the "Girls Gone Wild" tour bus with the promise of getting free clothes. They were also given a little drink or two of alcohol. One small glitch...they were both under 21 at the time...oops...oh Joe...say it isn't so buddy...

Now here is where it gets a little fuzzy for me. According to the girls, they were talked into exposing themselves and engaging in sexual activities but assured the footage would not be used. But it was...on two videos....

The girls are claiming it was used without their consent, but if consent was given, it was while they were intoxicated.

On the other hand, the attorney for "Girls Gone Wild" says they don't serve alcohol on the bus, and they require proof of age and identification.

Joe Francis isn't saying too much about it, he is busy in a Nevada jail fending off "guys gone wild with soap" while he fights tax evasion charges. He had a chance for bail but didn't go, apparently he likes the food in the Nevada prison, or it could be because if he gets out, Florida authorities want him for drug offences....that he got while in jail in Bay County...sounds like our friend Joe is familiar with court rooms.

He's also been charged in Florida for using minors for sexual performances and conspiring to use minors in sexual performances and prostitution.

Sounds like it might be awhile before Joe gets to watch the "Girls Go Wild."

While I don't agree with Joe or anyone using alcohol or any other form of coercion to get the girls to lift their tops etc, (ok I may have some experience here I admit it...now lets get back to the story) I have this to say about it. Girls...that is what happens when you get on tour buses that say on the side, "Girls Gone Wild" and it is also what usually happens to sexual videos....they get released one way or another. Might be a good time to pull out one of our favorite Silverhorn Mountain questions..what were ya thinking?

I'm sorry but unless you were kidnapped, you got on the bus. You got on the bus that said, "Girls Gone Wild" on the side. You took your shirts off and maybe more. Someone was taking your picture and you believed they wouldn't use the video....uh-huh...just how old were ya if you weren't 21.....? 3....?.....or are ya just stupid?

This is So true! - if you are dumb enough to think that an Adult video company is going to record you and NOT use your video, your too dumb to function.
I am sure girls gone wild has a signed consent form from these girls as well as a video of them saying it's ok. Granted if they are this dumb they may not have understood the form and all those words.

here is what happened

Girls made porn
then a friend or family member saw it
they get mad an sue.
