The New View From Silverhorn Mountain

Hey Silverhorners! This is your favorite Garden Gnome, Marcello, coming to you from high on the side of beautiful Silverhorn Mountain! Welcome to the Silverhorn Lodge!

Some of you have written wondering where we have been, and asking what's been going that our updates have fallen off of late. Well, there's been stuff happening....It's taken quite a bit of legal wrangling but I've finally taken over The View From Silverhorn Lodge. Frequent readers know that I have been ghost writing this blog for ages, the "Boss" is not really a very talented writer...in fact, we're not sure where his talents lie. The recent downturn in the economy has proven that as the Lodge went into recievership, except we couldn't find anyone to 'receive it' so yours truly, along with my new business partner and fellow garden gnome, Alonzo, and some financial backing from a fellow we will just call "Crazy Dave" have taken control of affairs around here.


It all started when the Boss had a birthday, not just any birthday, he turned 50! Yup slam dam into middle age! We've been watching it come on for several months, but he finally snapped. Middle age crazy hit him like a brick! We had a party for him, and that started it all! All we had to do was show this picture to the Judge and we were appointed guardians of him and the Lodge! There isn't much left of the Lodge unfortunately since he started selling off stuff to pay for the convertible and hair piece that he bought. In fact, we stopped him just before he started selling the shingles off the roof.

So....I can only hope that those of you who have supported The View From Silverhorn Mountain in the past will continue to do so, we're under new management now, and have big plans! As you can see, we've got things started already with a facelift to the layout, and a new picture of yours truly on the label!

I hope you will come back to the new Lodge, re-aquaint yourself with the goings on around here and get a chance to read our view of the goings on in the world!
